Imbolc Rumblings

a day retreat with Leni

Sunday 1st February 2026
Bristol

Cycling through seasons, join me for my first day retreat to celebrate the Celtic festival of Imbolc.

We gather to invite curiosity, softness and care as deep below the ground, life begins to rumble & stir from its wintery slumber.

We will connect to the deep rumblings of the earth, through movement, food, sound, connection, ritual and rest. No need for big intentions or direction, just making space to notice what is stirring in our individual and collective body as the light slowly returns. A time to reflect on the gifts of Winter and tentatively dream of what Spring might offer.

This retreat is for anyone who is curious about connecting to inner & outer cyclical rhythms. It is queer centred, accessible, trauma-informed and offered through the lens of anti-oppressive practice. Difference, play and autonomy will be celebrated here! You can read more about my approach here

Catering from Babs

I cannot share enough how incredible Babs is as a human and food magician! They accompany me on all my retreats and often have folks weeping with joy at how outrageously yummy their food is. They pour so much love into their work and I am thrilled they will be catering for this Imbolc day retreat.

Access + Community Care

Everything on offer will be adaptable with accessibilty at it’s heart. Please reach out if you have any specific questions. Sadly this venue is not fully wheelchair accessible – entering via the back is via a very slight step and to the toilets involves a step up/down. Please reach out to discuss further/for photos.

Please do not attend if you feel unwell and you have a new flu/cold/covid-like illness. If you have been very social or around someone who has been ill, please take a Covid test before attending. Let’s all look after one another!
