A day retreat to celebrate and connect to the Celtic festival of Lammas, the first harvest. In the fullness of summer we come together to honour the abundance of life within and around us through movement, feasting, community and land connection.

This day will be lead by Leni and Babs, offering practices for us to connect to the magic of abundance. The morning will be largely held by Leni, offering yoga practices to support us to land into the space, our bodies & the group. After lunch, our afternoon will be facilitated by Babs, sharing practices to connect to the magic of herbs & plants, and creating potions to take away with us. Sound & song will also be weaved into the day.

This retreat is for anyone who is curious about connecting to inner & outer cyclical rhythms. It is queer centred, accessible, trauma-informed and offered through the lens of anti-oppressive practice. Difference, play and autonomy will be celebrated here! You can read more about my approach here

Access + Community Care

Everything on offer is optional and adaptable with accessibility & consent at it’s heart. We will be based at The Roundhouse and nearby covered outdoor space at the Community Farm which are accessed via fairly even grass paths & wooden ramps.  You can park right by the entrance and there is also an accessible compost toilet close by. Across the rest of the farm, the paths can be uneven in places but mainly has good grass paths with no steps.

The movement practice will involve moving up/down from standing to the floor in moments. Chairs can be made available to support with this & use throughout practice, and most things are easily adaptable. The herbal magic workshop will involve a walk around the farm at a slow pace, with plenty of opportunities to pause as you need. Please reach out if you have any specific questions/for photos.

Please do not attend if you feel unwell and you have a new flu/cold/covid-like illness. If you have been very social or around someone who has been ill, please take a Covid test before attending. Let’s all look after one another!

Tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is full and your space can be filled from the waiting list.
